TEC Group’s exciting charity partnership for 2020

Leading vehicle insurance industry services provider, TEC Reports Group, has announced an important charity partnership for 2020 that aims to raise significant funds in support of a small but vital local Derbyshire charity Bank House, Swadlincote.

Bank House, provides a much needed caring, safe and supportive environment to help people who have a wide range of issues and with a self-perceived need of support around their mental health issues, to regain their health, improve their well-being and to live a full and fulfilling life.

Bank House Manager John Sillabeer says that ‘In 2018 we narrowly avoided closure following the loss of our long established funding, so we now rely on grants and the support of companies and individuals from the wider community to sustain us. This close-knit Derbyshire community has rallied to support this treasured oasis, recognizing the tenderness and loving care given to those who are in need of support around a range of issues. We are thrilled that a locally based company of TEC Reports’ national stature has choosing us as their 2020 Charity Partner which will really help put the Charity on a firm footing.’

From every vehicle engineering inspection that TEC Group carries out in 2020 a small donation will go to The Bank House charity. And with over 80,000 engineering inspections carried out each year that should amount quite to a significant sum!

To further support this fundraising drive, TEC Group’s fabulous work colleagues will be raising donations through monthly team fundraising events  – including a sponsored PJs@WorkDay, a ‘virtual bike ride’ from Land’s End to John O’groats and ‘Buy a free day off’ raffle.

TEC Reports Group CEO Charles Griffin, himself already a significant charity fund raiser, hopes that  ‘As social responsibility is a high up the company’s agenda this charity fundraising initiative fits well with our stated philosophies. We are really proud of how our employees have embraced the charity partnership with great originality and enthusiasm. We’re looking forward to the many exciting and some potentially hilarious fundraising events planned for 2020.’
